Ted Andkilde - Windsor, Ontario/Detroit, Michigan
Ted Andkilde's interest in photography was sparked while studying
Chemistry at the University of Windsor. After completing his degree (BSc
Chem, minor in PolySci) Ted studied Photojournalism at Loyalist College and
was named the ONPA Student Photographer Of The Year.
After short stints on staff at the Kingston Whig-Standard and the
Kitchener/Waterloo Record Ted embarked on a career as an independent
photojournalist.
Ted currently covers Southwestern Ontario and the American Midwest for a broad range clients including The Toronto Star, The Globe & Mail,
Macleans, and Canadian Geographic.
Ted is a founding member of PictureDesk International.
